TOMY TAKKIES IS AN ICONIC SOUTH AFRICAN BRAND CREATING ACCESSIBLE, AFFORDABLE AND FASHION-FORWARD FOOTWEAR.

Our story began in 1964 in Bata’s first production factory in Zimbabwe. Hard shoes were not working for our local market because of the dry climate and hard ground. The founding father of Bata developed a softer, canvas shoe and aptly named it after his son Tomy George Bata.
