It’s official; the new TV commercial for A.Vogel Echinaforce®, produced by iKind Media for Umhlanga-based Advertising Agency, Public Address, has hit the South African airwaves and can now be seen gracing our TV screens via local broadcasters MNET and SABC. The 30 second television commercial is the second iKind Media / Public Address joint production; the first being a 40 second commercial for Bio-Strath South Africa, shot in mid-April and set to air in late-August.
Echinaforce® drops are made from the fresh leaves and roots of the Echinacea purpurea plant and are a traditional remedy for people prone to cold-like illnesses. Echinaforce® drops help to promote the recuperation process when taken during a cold and help to boost the body’s own defenses, ward off cold-like illnesses and alleviate colds with fevers.
The Echinaforce® shoot saw a large production team taking over an Umhlanga street for an entire weekend. We followed a rigourous setup and shooting schedule, moved in the “big” lights, the even “bigger” generators and a 6 foot “rain machine”, perched high overhead between two scaffolding towers. Battling against harsh morning winds and the constant shifting sun, the iKind team pulled off all the shots in outstanding fashion, working smartly through every obstacle that arose.
A big thanks to the Public Address team for their professionalism and energy on shoot and to the outstanding cast who kept smiling throughout, even when fending off the falling “rain” for prolonged periods.
