South Africa’s premier Thoroughbred Racehorse auction, The Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale, gets underway at the TBA Sales Complex, Gosforth Park, South Africa, from 15 – 17 April 2011.

Summerhill Stud, the nation’s leading breeder for six consecutive years is consigning 31 yearlings to this year’s sale including progeny of Trippi, Stronghold, Muhtafal, Rock Of Gibraltar, Ravishing, Kahal, Giant’s Causeway, Mullins Bay, Elusive Quality, Tiger Ridge, Way West and Street Sense. iKind Media was tasked with the production of Summerhill’s television campaign for broadcast on the Robin Bruss-hosted Inside Racing, DSTV channel 232, in a 6 week buildup to the sale.

The campaign consisted of four commercials featuring Summerhill stallions Stronghold and Mullins Bay, whose first progeny are on offer at the sale, as well as top 2011 racecourse performers, Hollywoodboulevard and Igugu, the latter the only filly in history to have a realistic crack at the South African Triple Tiara, as well as a documentary featuring Summerhill CEO Mick Goss presenting the Summerhill brand.
